Dealer Prep
Just about all the dealers disable the fan on the bikes as part of the PDI process. Too many riders complained about roasted nuts because the fan pushes the air past the motor and it ends up right at the front of the seat.
All Canadian riders take their bikes into the dealer at the end of September to have the fan feature turned back on. It is a simple computer flash to get the fan turned back on. It really helps the Canadian riders in the winter, because having frozen nuts is not only uncomfortable, but it screws up our sperm bank donation system.

Actually the fan is designed not to turn on if the bike is only ridden once a year. Otherwise the moisture build-up in the motor will cause rust. So you should be fine. Just remember to only ride one day a year.

Sweet
But the Road Hog Turbo Booster with stainless steel impeller and the mesh bug screen is a better setup!
Hip Boots anyone? it's getting deep in here!

Did someone say something about police? Seriously though the heat is an easy fix. Just get your passenger (you can get one by going to www.buyabitch.com) and have them wear the new **** Airfin 12.0 (www.****airfin12.0.com). The incresed air flow to the motor will allow you to leave the fan off at all times. This allows you an open fuse housing to plug in the turn signal fluid temperature gauge (www.tunrsignalfluidtemperaturegauge.com). This ensures that your turn signals will shut off after making a turn, meaning you won't have to maually shut them off...pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

Followed the instructions from the manual to a "T" on removing the fan and now my intermittent wiper along with the back up alarm don't work anymore. What's up with that? I guess it's back to the dealer.
