I've bought two helmets from Helmet Harbor and the price and service were great.

Not to discourage anyone, but because of the critical fit issues with a helmet, why would anyone get one online???

Just bought a Bell Star Helmet from Motorcycle Closeouts Motorcycle Closeouts www.motorcyclecloseouts.com and the first one was too small. They are sending the next size up. No problems with the return.

To save some significant $$$. But, you're right about the critical fit. I've purchased several Arai helmets online, but only after confirming proper fit in a store. Plus, Arai has a program where you get one free return for fitment -- they pay for both the return shipping and the shipping for the replacement helmet. It doesn't matter what online seller you buy from, as this program is covered by Arai.

Price... the one I bought I tried on in a brick and mortrar but they only had one in a larger size, so fortunately the company had a good return policy. Savings $350 plus no tax.

I bought my Nolan N102 Modular online. I did have the benefit of trying one on for size prior to the purchase though.

I've always bought them were they almost seem too small. Your head will compact the shell over time.
