Default Removing reflectors (tips for removing any sticky glue left behind?)

Just switched from a sportster to a street bob. Im about to take off the reflectors. Is there a chemical anyone recommends to remove the stickiness. Any tips or tricks?

Rubbing alcohol, WD-40, goop-off, just to name a few. I am sure there are others.

Me too. I took the reflectors off of the front frame on my 99 FXSTC, but the foam sticky tape is still there. Hopefully someone will chime in here with something that works.

goop off has been known to damage paint, 3M spray Adhesive remover works well and made to work on painted surfaces. I got it at auto parts store. At the art supply store you can get Bestine Rubber Cement Thinner, it will take residue off plastic and not hurt the finish

To get as much of the **** off as possible with very little cleanup...

First warm the reflector with a hair dryer. Then take some fishing line and saw it back and forth along the fork behind the reflector. Clean up what little adhesive is left with goof-off.
