last year i bought a tach speedo combo retails for 499.00 not cheap, got a good deal on it from the dealer, had to return it 1 month later and they warrentied because the number plate would warp in the sun and trap the needles and they wouldnt return to 0 untill i covered from the sun. this was back in august, and now same damn thing. is it just my luck or is anyone else having the same problem before i go back start complaining about crappy quality

 

Bought mine in 07 when I bought the bike and have had no issues and love it. Now we get to hear from all the guys on the forum with a tach in their *** tell us what dummy's we were for buying one Again.

 

I put the combo on my Rocker when I got it. No problems at all with it.

 

I have one that did just that. I disassembled it and there was not enough glue around the odometer display. I haven't reassembled it yet because I plan on putting a custom face on it.

I have a second one that I have no problem with. There is a small percentage of people that are having problems with them.

I'd take it back and give them a chance.

 

Have the combo unit on mine since new with no issues whatsoever. So far nearly 23,000 miles in all weather, rain or shine and temps from zero to 120; again, not a problem.

The speedo lens is not warped....my camera has a cheapo lens.

 

What's that attached to your windshield? That direct the air higher over your head?

on the inside of the glass. Kind of annoying in the sun but otherwise not noticeable.

yep got that film on the inside of the glass also
