I'm above average.

What makes you think there will be garage queens available in 10 years. Us old retired guys (actually I retire on July 9th) have more time to ride. I've always taken a 2K trip in September. This years trip is mapped out at over 4K 'cause I won't have to come back to work.

I've seen a lot of "non senior" bike riders that fall in that group also.

I don't know about that. I know more than a few 60 and 70 something HD riders that go non-stop.

63, retired for a little over a year and just finished putting 3973 on an 06 Heritage Springer I bought 5 weeks ago. First new bike for me. My 65 pan had until then been the one doing all the miles since 1970.

Great trip from Kali to Texas and back. Stayed off the interstate. It was nice not having to plan to be a certain place. Finally figured the retirement thing out!
