laid my bike down today.

It was a banked offramp that I take every day and I usualy drop into 4th then straighten up then brake twardes the stop but I was too high in the turn and to fast so it was either over shoot the turn wich would be really ugly or try to drag as much as i could to make the turn but it didnt. After looking at the bike today it looks like the front peg and brake pedal popped my front tire off the ground and thats how I lost it. LO-RIDER I was wearing jeans and a sweatshirt and a DOT half helmet. The jeans are trash the sweatshirt faired ok with only 3 small holes and thank god I had a DOT benie on as my head appears to have hit the road 2 times. I think a novelty helmet would have sent me to the emergency room!

been there done that, spent the past 8 mos. trying to recover, glad to hear you had no injuries, bikes can be repaired, it takes longer for these old bodies to recover. Keep the faith...
