Default 2010 Touring pipes opinions

Got a new EGC so I'm sort of wearing out these threads. Collecting opinions on slip-ons for 2010 EG-C. Seems it is a very limited selection out there for the newer design. Had Rineharts and like the sound. Looking for the deep throaty sound but have no idea from web.Any input is greatly appreciated.

You should start with your headpipe first, you got a catalytic converter on the 2010 model that will kill the sound of whatever slipon you use. Not to mention the heat on your right foot.

Fuel Motto makes a stainless that will last longer than the bike and will give you some extra HP and torque. Fullsac has a ceramic header that will reduce the radiated heat on your right leg.

Then maybe a slipon search might be worth your time and money! Might as well start looking for a good fuel management system also.

if you liked rineharts before, you can get them again. they are offering slip ons for the 2010 head pipe. of course, you could go with the fuel moto head pipe and the rineharts, since the fuel moto head pipe is the same outlet size as stock.

Non cat headers are a must...then its up to you what you want for slip-ons...Look at my sig for my setup...love my headers and really love my jackpots, deep and civil when you want them to be then they really come alive when you crak the throttle...perfect pipe IMO...I will say this though, once I got my new pipes in, I took the stock can off (just to see what it would sound like) the stock cat headers and put one of the jackpots on and it was MUCH louder and sounded like a HD..it was very noticeable. The heat was still there however so I suggest losing the cat pipes. I had the pipes down to Rineharts and Fuel Moto...I went w/Fuel Moto mainly due to the better price, customer service, baffle options, & tip style choices.

Man I did not know the cat was causing so much of the sound issue. Even for stock it really sucks. Had the bike 4 days and the pipe take away any enjoyment of a new bike.

Check out YouTube for some sound clips. Also, I think V&H has sound bytes on all the pipes the offer.
