Default Too hot to ride!!

Damnation, it's a hot sumbitch today! I was gonna go for a put up to Nevada City but it's a scorcher out there, no thanks.

I have a little nest of mockingbirds out in the orange tree and I hope the little ones don't get fired in this sun. Looks like an afternoon off the bike and in front of the tube. Pass the nachos... Anyone see that video of the guy with the beer throwing machine? I need one now!

Yea, its been pretty damn miserable out here in GA. It was already 91 by 11 am today with the humidity to match. My friends and I got up at 6am and were on the rode for a morning run. Anything after 12 is just almost unbearable.

Another hot one here in Georgia. My Sunday ritual is riding a bit over 50 miles over to Jasper to visit my aunt who is in a nursing home.

It was 90 in Dawsonville when I went throught there about 1030.

Afternoon thunderstorms cooled things off while I waited them out at home. Took about a 1 hour ride at 6 pm... temps in the 80's......

i very very rarely wear shorts during a ride, but a nice 40+ mph breeze up one's shorts feels mighty nice on the scorching hot days.

The high tempeture for the year here in Seattle is 77 degrees..
We have only had 6 days where it got to be over 70.
Half of those days were in April..
And it's been raining 3-4 days a week...it never rains afterJune 1
We've begun to call this month Juneuary..

I rode about 90 miles yesterday in 98 degree temps with about 80% humidity. The breeze pretty much just makes you hotter in those conditions. Thank God there was a swimming pool at the end of the ride!

I don't really have a choice right now.. I ride no matter how hot .. If I don't get another vehicle up and going .. I'll be riding in the bitter cold too.

Damn hot in New Orleans too! You really have the very early morning and evening to ride unless you want to bath in your own sweat. Pretty miserable thats for sure.
