does anybody under 50 ride - had to laugh

Same things happens to me, I get much younger when riding. Up to a point, then I realize 500 mile days take much more out of me than they used to and the almost 50 creeps up again.
Speaking of the under 50 crowd, I started riding when I was 5, son started when he was 7, 26 now and rides a Rocker. Daughter started at 10, 22 now but currently in between bikes concentrating on school. She's looking at a SG purchase in a few months.
We have numerous friends between 18 and 50+ who would love to ride, most of the younger ones can't afford what they want with school and such and many of those in our age group still have small kids, big mortgages, etc. Many have said how envious they are of us as our kids are grown and on their own, plus most of our stuff is paid for so we can go and do as we please.

Stopped at a HD dealership in the next town over yesterday. There were maybe 10 people outside milling around and maybe the same inside. Not a one didn't have grey hair or a grey beard, except maybe the employees.

Well who knows you might have seen me. Yep over 50. I ride all over and I see lots of 20-30 year olds out riding. Heck I even ride with them from time to time.

I'm under 50 and in the south burbs of Chicago. I haven't gotten out to ride much due to remodeling the house, ahh the frustration. I bought my bike when I was 24 and I still try to get out as much as possible. Stay safe everyone!

Hehe been on a Harley since I was fourteen , never see fifty again ..
Actually I'm eighteen with 35 years experience ..
I dont ride with very many peeps , mostly myself and one or two others .. I am the young one in the bunch , my best riding partner will be 71 in august , just bought a '10 Ultra , traded an '05 with 150k on it ..
Not many can keep up with him when he sets his mind to a ride ...
I see lots under fifty , but for the most part , as far as burning the miles , I think most my age and older are the mile packers .. I dont think as many who are much younger than me had bikes when they were teens , as when I was coming along ..
And it is a fact , the majority of riders (any brand) are beyond 45 ..
Cant add years to my life , but I can add life to my years ..
The more I ride , the more I wanna ride ..

We all ride year around for many years. As we grow older we see less places for the young rider to get started.
