All bearings are standard. If I need a bearing I measure it and call bearing store. Open yellow pages book. Guess where? Bearings page!
For example, if AC compressor in your car is bad you can spend $10 for new bearing or 300 for new compressor.

I sure do hate to hear this, but that’s what the service guy told me on my bearings issue……he said he’s seen a lot of Dyna’s especially in recent years with bad bearing issues……

They had to replace my entire rear wheel – you can’t buy the hub seperatly…….if that hadn’t been warranty covered it would have been astronomical….. all because of those shitty bearings.

 

A trick we use here in our truck shop ( we use cheap bearings ) is to remove the seal and add grease to the bearing and put the seal back on.This makes them last so well that the bearing rep called me to see why I stopped buying bearings from them.

The bearings I ordered that are a direct replacement for the stock bearings DO NOT match anything in the local bearing supply house, in diameter yes, bore yes, load rating, not even close, thickness, any one is too narrow, and I thought what about two bearings in place of one, no combination of any of the two would equal the width and give the correct load rage needed to match the stock and/or stock replacement bearing. I had our local bearing supplier for work look for replacements (like it was for work) and they could not come up with anything, was told to contact the machine manufacture and order the bearings from them, and then have them match them, so I took them what I had purchased and again nothing, two days wasted looking. In the end I ordered them off of Ebay for less than $8.00 each.

 

Look for your nearest Motion Industries store. They can match anything for anything.
