i have heard of a bar on the 1 called cool springs bar(i think that is what he said) and another one called The Maverick... is this a nice ride and cool place to drink beer?

 

Cold Springs Tavern , it's outside Santa Barbara. The Maverick is in Santa Ynez not too far from Santa Barbara. Neither is on Hwy 1

 

Cold Springs Tavern is a very cool place. Haven't been to the Maverick, but on my next trip to SoCal, I'll have to check the place out.
