Angry HD Clothing

Has anyone ever gone through their closet and looked at the label on all their shirts, hats, even some of the leather jackets? Can anyone find a label that says "Made in the USA?" It's one thing to pay $60 for a HD shirt, but when it's label says "Made in China" I don't think so. Why can't an American bike have accessories made in America and help put America back to work. My leather jacket was made in the USA, but my wife's HD leather jacket has Made in China on it and hers wasn't any cheaper than mine.

I agree with you. Someone has got to get it done. Keep looking at the labels. Buy USA.
We will just have to pay a little more.

I agree and I'd rather pay a little more for an American made product, unfortunately, most people don't care enough to do that and when your in business, you are there to make $$$$ and all of it you can but I'm sure you know that.

Some people will sell their soul for a dollar.

It's been like that for many, many years. Same with the blister packaged chrome accessories hanging on the hall....China/Taiwan

Just got my new Fox Creek leather jacket. Nicest jacket I've ever owned and it's made here in the good ol' US of A.

You can definatley tell the difference between the old ones made here in the USA and the new ones made overseas. I still have one of the old ones and it is about 3 times the weight of the Chinese version.

this is why I don't have an HD jacket. I got an aftermarket one at a rally 6 years ago for $80 and it looks like the fxrg jacket. I couldn't pay $500 for the same made in china jacket. I do have a few shirts thats I picked up at a second hand store and they are the only ones in my drawer that are made in USA

Has it been that long since this thread came up before?

All of my HD schwag is made outside the USA. Tough to choose "Made in USA" only gear when buying through the interwebs.

Union labor is too expensive and manufacutrers here are over taxed by all the local , state & federal taxes that don't exist in China. If they were made here you would be complaining about the $65 tshirt or the $700 leather jacket.
