Maybe it's just because my hobbies are shooting and motorcycles and my work is law, but somehow I never see or hear anything about California that doesn't make me stop and think how lucky I am not to live there.

Called Lori Saldana, San Diego. We must not have enough people calling because they had no idea what I was talking about, but they did listen and note my request.

I called my reps and they looked up the bill and knew what I was talking about. One of my reps sits on the committee hearing the bill this coming Monday. Her office confirmed it will be heard this Monday. I asked a couple of times for her stance on the bill, but they claim she has not decided.
