I rode with our local HOG Chapter and they asked simple safety questions i.e. who has never ridden in a group. But never have I herd the question 'first time riding with a passenger. these simple questions can determine a persons place in the pack and reduce recipes for disaster.

I'm curious, how does this work? What exactly do you look for in riders and what on their bike?

It's why i quit riding poker runs. Mixed group- one thought he was better than the rest and came in too hot for a curve-took out a farmers pick-up, lost his life and a close friend on the back lost her leg. Last time i rode one

We have had several rides where the levels of experience was all over the place and it was quite frankly scary...we have about 10 people maX out of 86 that ride rather well together and we have now concluded that we would rather ride together more...Some people can't seem to know how to take care of their equipment.
