Default Can my bike sit idle for a week?

Just got a 2010 Fat Bob but work requires that I travel for 7 days each month. Can my bike sit like this without causing future problems for her?

Your bike can probably sit and idle for a week if you keep it fueled. It can certainly sit idle for much longer than a week. You'll want to check the battery charge and tire pressures if you leave it for a month or more.

Have someone go out and shake it one a day !!!!

At best a battery tender.

No, it will fall apart. You should leave it at my house for that week, I'll be sure it gets taken care of.

well, if you're that worried (which you are allowed to be, it's your ride), buy a battery tender, not a trickle charger, and keep her hooked up when yer gone.

As noted, just a good maintence idea to hae a battery tender on your bike. Youll have no problem with the week time frame. Now......to idle for a week???? :-0

Yes...recommend a battery tender and top off the tank with fuel...not necessary for short idle time, but good to put the tender on anyway...I always do after I ride.
