I used the Dunlop D407's on my '07 FatBoy and got 11,000 miles each on the 2 rears I had. I then got the D205's from AmericanMotoTire. com for $136 and am really impressed by it. It's the SportMax Touring tire and will be my next tire as well.

Maybe I've just been lucky, but I have never had issues with Dunlop. My buddy has an '03 FatBoy and goes through Metzlers like crazy.

It is almost like they (Dunlop, HD) cornered the market with the size we need 200 55 17. This size has been in use for 3 years now so you would think there would be other choices available.
