43,233 on my 05 electraglide standard, ate three cam bearings, complete engine failure, Result complete rebuilt "not at a Dealership" andrews gear drive cams woods roller lifters, S&S reed breather valve, bored .020, new pistons, top end was good, true an weld the stock flywheels, they were out a lot. Everything gone thru and most importantly a top quality oil cooler, straight 60w Amsol. Twin Cam motors run hotter than an Evolution so heat is you motors killer. Now I am really happy with how things turned out. Cam chain tensioners are one of the many weakness of the 88. Go to www.heavydutycycles.com and read some of Donny Petersons writings I found them very relative and informative. I love my NEW 05 bike. She's got tons of tourque now.

46K on my 04 Road King. 95" kit installed when new, gear drive installed at 25k. Runs strong, doesn't leak, and doesn't burn any oil. I change the engine oil at 2500-3000 mile intervals, and will take it in for the 50K service, but otherwise I just get on and ride.

Just turned 71,000 on my Heritage Classic. The stator went at 20,000 and I had gear driven cams installed at 38,000, otherwise, nothing other than fluid changes and routine maintenance.

2004 Deuce 40,000 laps and only replaced EFI fuel line in the tank. Does anyone have a quote on a price to have the cam tensioner replaced?

51,000 on my 2002 softail. Did the tensioners at 40k along with cams. Everything else in the engine is stock with a power commander. Keep on rolling...

Just bought my 06 Street Glide with 15K miles on it. It'll show 25K before the summer is over. Read a lot about the tensioners and have decided on Andrews gear cams during the off-season. Hope to see 100K out of this bike.
