Been here since Tuesday, spending the next couple of weeks, with a weekend trip to to Lubec, ME.

Weather on Mt. Washington was great on Friday. Weekend has been excellent.

Beautiful area, I try to get up there at least once a year. Glad to hear you had a great time.

Went up Mt. Washington thurs. Pretty good rain to start. It didn't take long before visibility went to 5-10 feet. By the time I got to the top, you could have lost your bike in the fog, if you got off it and turned around. At that point they closed the mountain. The fog, or more accurately, being in the cloud was amazing. It wasn't raining , but it was like being in water. Coming down, you could not see the brake light from the bike in front, even within 5-10'. Two or three tour vans went up as we descended. Unable to see their lights until within a few feet. First gear, a couple miles an hour...I'll tell you what. I've been up the mt. 4-5 times. I will never go up again unless the weather is good.

Beautiful eye candy country and riding country. I stayed in Gilford for the week, but did the Kanc twice and looped the high peaks. Hope to return this fall and do Mt. Washington.
