anyone use Harbor Freight wheel chock?
I see harbor freight has their wheel chock on sale this weekend for 45 bucks. did not know if anyone has used this item and is it worth buying.? I only need one from time to time so I did not want to dump a bunch of cash on a high dollar item.
thanks

If you're talking about this one, http://www.harborfreight.com/motorcy...ock-97841.html , I have it, and it works great.

Definately worth the money, especially if you're like me and usually by yourself when doing maintenance on your bike.

I got mine for $39 and I love it. It's as well made as the one's I've seen for $200+.
I bolted mine to the floor in the garage, under where I park the truck.

I just bought mine two weeks ago. The list price was $79.99. I found it on their website for $49.95. Printed out the website page, took it in, bought it. They gave me a flyer for their upcoming sales...it was listed for $44.95. I called them and they pointed out it was a dated flyer, said wait until that date, bring my receipt, they'd make the adjustment. While I was waiting, picked up Thunder Press at my local indy shop...it was listed in the Harbor Freight ad for $39.99. No date on the coupon. I took it in with my receipt, they made the adjustment...even though the coupon clearly states "Not valid on prior purchases."
I've had really good experiences with Harbor Freight. And the stand/wheel chock works great.

Yes, I have used two kinds. The stand alone one and the floor mounted one. Both worked very well.
