I just noticed the stripes around the dashboard look uneven but they're not, just the way the pic was taken hehe

Father in law does nice work.

Heres my first attempt at a flame job.

Lots of folks consider mine "Old School", and the tips are really red. Maybe this will give you some idea.

Looks good! Wish I had family to do that for me!

Q Hog has those flames on his Road King. I want those so bad on my ride. I think that's my project for this winter. Stretched bags and some old school flames.

Thanks! He doesnt do a whole lot of painting..this is probably the first paint job he's done in 5 years. he's had 2 win best of show at bike shows, think he had one that was published in a magazine. I'll have to convince him to lemme scan all his pictures

we did get very lucky i might add, all the painting and clear coat was done in an open garage without a paint booth. I've gotta take 'er down with 1500 and 2000 grit sandpaper saturday(letting the urathane clear harden for a few days since its 100 degrees and 90% humitidy lol) then polish it and put her back together and give her a name..

very nice for a first attempt, you do much painting other then flames?

Came out great. BTW, the "outline" as is has been referred to is "pin stripping", takes a dayum steady hand to do it. KUDO's to him.
