Harley Jacket

RE: Harley Jacket
A few places I have been where vendors were selling counterfeit or knockoff imitations of Harley clothing they used that logo. Apparently by puting "company" in the bottom of the shield logo instead of "cycles", they appear to avoid trademark infringement. I don't know it that makes it legal but I have seen that, especially in foreign countries. That might just be an imitation jacket.

RE: Harley Jacket
Wasn't there just an article in Hog Tales or Enthusiast about the old logos? I am looking on google Image Search and the majority do say Harley Davidson Motor Cycles... But I could have sworn that back in the day they all said Motor Company... Maybe it is difference between the Harley Owned and the AMF stuff?

RE: Harley Jacket
Uh... nevermind...
go here:
http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/C...p?locale=en_US
The country selector page of the harley site has the logo...
So... probably not an imitation... and if it is... Damn good one.

Well I know that if you go to the Harley-Davidson test facility at Talladega Superspeedway and buy one of their shirts it has “Motor Company”.
We were told by a test employee that those are a little harder to come by.
