Harley Finance - 900 Number
I wanted to pay off the loan on my bike, so I called the 800 customer service number on my HDF statement to get the pay off $$$'s. When I called the 800 number a message said the number was no longer good and they gave me a 900 number to call. I did get a warning that the call to the 900 number would cost me $1.99. Now $1.99 isn't much, but it sure ticked me off that the "customer service" call would cost anything.
Well I did go to the website and found another 800 number that I called and they did give me the pay off $$$. I sent them a check over 3 weeks ago and as of today have not heard a word from them and still don't have the title to my bike.
Now that is what I call great "customer service", trying to gouge you for every penny they can get.

Me too!
Same thing happened to me. Finally found the a number that worked and CSR said I should just get the 10 day payoff from the website and "zap" the funds through my bank. It's been a week. We'll see.

Service is no longer free eh? Wtf... that right there is a good enough reason for me to never do business with HD finance.

When I paid mine off it took about a week for my check to clear and about 3-4 weeks until I got my title. I actually got a check from the moco stating I over paid $16.32!

Free way to "zap" funds to HDFS
I have "bill pay" through my bank. I made my monthly scoot payment through the bank so sending them the 10 day payoff amount was a breeze. Shows that I have a zero balance today. Let's see how long it takes to get a title.
