the dude is no less dead than if a drunk or anyone else hit him i say sue the crap out of her then put her in jail..where she can't kill anyoe else..except other killers..

A truly unfortunate accident! You would think that something more than a $20.00, citation is in order. At 92, she probably doesn't need to be driving but if she still has her wits about her and no other means of transport, what's she supposed to do? I deal with elderly drivers all the time who are a hazard to themselves and everyone around them. Hopefuly they will at least access her driving skills and impose some type of driving restrictions. Very sad!

Most of these types of charts show that people from ages 60 through 74 are less likely to get into an accident than those who range in age 34 to 59... Go figure...

Nope doesn't show that at all... at a minimum, you have to consider how many licensed drivers there are in each group. Example, the chart shows drivers over 65 contribute @ 14% of the deaths... what if they are only 5% of the licensed driver population?

Of course, we don't know the death / driver ratio for these numbers either... and so on.

mother of 82 years died 18 days ago without
killing any one, from a child to a biker, with her car
