Default SE carb?

Ok, is there a difference between a Kiehn Screamin' Eagle carb and a regular kiehn carb? if so what's different?

I take it this is asked alot? point me in the direction of where i should look? im just a bit nieve when it comes to harley's, only been working on them for 3 years or so, so i have little expierence and a million questions, try not to flame me to hard? hehe

The standard Keihin CV carb for Harley's has a 40mm venturi, while the standard Screaming Eagle CV carb has a 44mm venturi. The 44mm Screaming Eagle carb should be used on large displacement bikes. If you are running 88 or 95 cu inches, then the Keihin CV 40 should do the job.

Used a SE44CV on my 110hp Sporty and am using a SE51CV on my current 103 inch FXDXT; I'm personally a fan of the SE CV carbs but I believe they get flamed a lot because they're exclusive to HD...can't make money off what you can't sell.
