I have been using about a 50/50 mix this year to clean bugs and it appears to me that the peroxide removes wax with repeated use. Works very well removing the bug splats though.
I use Meguiars Yellow wax and have never noticed that it removed it? I do wax the fairing and front fender more often than the rest of the bike since those parts are on the leading edge so that could be the reason? It does get rid of those hard bug splats well though! Been using it for years with no ill effect. tip given by a professional detailer. Safe for cuts so.....
My father recommended it to me. I bought a cvo breakout which has tons of chrome. I polished all that chrome and paint in 20 minutes to a high showroom shine and effortlessly I might add. I was very impressed. I'm sold for life at this point
Yes good stuff , I found it about 3 yrs ago in Ny. Just found some new stuff call Speed Wax made by Lucas Oil , works better I thing , but both are god stuff !
My wife uses it on her trike. The fenders on that thing are the biggest bug catchers I've ever seen, plus it's white. If you use it regularly, the bugs seem to come off a lot easier.
