I use Meguiars Yellow wax and have never noticed that it removed it? I do wax the fairing and front fender more often than the rest of the bike since those parts are on the leading edge so that could be the reason? It does get rid of those hard bug splats well though! Been using it for years with no ill effect. tip given by a professional detailer. Safe for cuts so.....

Default Just bought bug slide

My father recommended it to me. I bought a cvo breakout which has tons of chrome. I polished all that chrome and paint in 20 minutes to a high showroom shine and effortlessly I might add. I was very impressed. I'm sold for life at this point

I do like the bug slide works well, pricey... I also like this Lucas slick mist product more product at 1/2 the price of bug slide

Yes good stuff , I found it about 3 yrs ago in Ny. Just found some new stuff call Speed Wax made by Lucas Oil , works better I thing , but both are god stuff !

My wife uses it on her trike. The fenders on that thing are the biggest bug catchers I've ever seen, plus it's white. If you use it regularly, the bugs seem to come off a lot easier.

you have to build up bug slide and you also have to stop using wax....

I use it before every ride to clean face shield and windshield. It also does a great quick touch up on the fenders and tank between washing the bike.
