Does your friend know about the tranny issues and is he OK with it? Sounds to me like a TRADE is in your future! All the cool guys ride baggers!

Personally, I would keep the Shovel. Like you say, by the time you did everything to do the swap, you'd be well on your way to the 127".

Plus I never pictured you wanting to be one of the "Cool Guys" on Baggers!!!!!

I was initially gonna say go for it, but then again you really like the shovel. Pick which one would make you the happiest

maybe you could make the trade with the caveat that you get first dibs on the shovel when the guys dad gets to the point where even making a local trip is just too much for him.....

personally i would take the bagger, but thats only cause i like being on the road for long durations and my kids would find it easier to ride with me on it. just so long as ya dotn get rid of the cap'n which ever one makes ya feel gooder is the one you should go with.

This right here............sooner or later (hopefully for your and your friends sake it'd be later) the old fella is going to hang up his ridin' boots and it will find its way home again provided he agrees.
