It was great meeting everyone today.
The ride was perfect !
If you missed it, you missed some good roads, good food and good weather !

I got the next one, not sure where, but it will start looking for ideas in the next week or so.
Thanx Phil and others who put this together !

Sounds like a great time for all involved. I'll try to make the next one. Good idea on making it a regular event. Weather should be great from her on out.

Thanks for the great ride....couple of observations.....Did you see the udders on that cow? WOW! And Bryan when you blew by the feed truck, did you fart? damn...... And we turned west on 455, where did you and Bill go? Yes the food was good but come on...a Beef eaters platter? I've seen more than that left on my plate at places!! Think somewhere down the road we will have to hit North Main BBQ in Euless, used to be all u could eat for $10.....and north tx folks are the friendliest, wavin their straw hats at us!!!! Maybe we should have stopped for the free t-shirt! Have fun guys!!!!

I'm heading to visit my bro in law in Van Alstyne on the 16th for a ride. He just recently picked up a '02 RK and hasn't done much riding up there. Can ya'll give me a couple of routes for a 5-8 hour ride in that area?
You could always to to Paris, down to Sulfur Springs, back over to Greenville then up 69, or take some roads over to 455 which is a nice run to Pilot Point. Basically some half decent runs I've done on the weekends involved going through 455 or 121 (not the bigger 121 but a small rural highway between Tioga and Van Alstyne), 82 between Bonham and Paris, and a few other things in the area.

Hey, Houston Forum guys.... Maybe a day ride in the future like D/Ft W guys did...? Heck, it takes almost a day to get anywhere good anyway....

Just a thought.
