I'm heading to visit my bro in law in Van Alstyne on the 16th for a ride. He just recently picked up a '02 RK and hasn't done much riding up there. Can ya'll give me a couple of routes for a 5-8 hour ride in that area? On a side note, any former jarheads out there, there's a social at the Chase Place Bar and Grill in Richardson that Saturday night.

ok...i aint talked with PhilM yet but all us Ft Worth guys are meetin up at Western Center exit on 35W one exit north of 820 at 7am...its gonna be nice temp wise and 7 is early enough

YES...spoke with PhilM today and we are ALL meeting at 35 & 455...we will be leaving at 8am from there....ft worth guys are meeting at Western Center and I35W (1st exit north of 820) at 7am to ride together up to meet PhilM and the Dallas guys...pm for #'s

Phil,

That should be a good ride. In fact, a buddy and I did a ride along 455 last weekend but going the other direction. Had a great time and ended up at the Allen HD store. (Funny how all my rides usually end up at a showroom. Maybe that's why I have a hard time keeping a bike.)

Would love to join up with you Saturday but my weekend has been preempted. However, I'm off Monday and am planning a breakfast ride (see attached map). Shoot me a note if interested.
