Rotator Cuff on both shoulders 1 was 4 weeks and the other 5 weeks. Guess cause I was older.
Lower back surgery took 4 weeks before I could do a vey short ride (3-4 blocks) and 6 weks for a longer ride
Neck surgery 3 discs fused, took 6 weeks to get on for short ride and 8 weeks for length
Based on what you have been going thru, trust me, these times will be short. Just make sure you have a good (if not great) neurosurgeon.

carpal tunnel surgery in both hands - riding in 4 weeks. Ulner nerve surgery on right elbow - riding again in 6 weeks. Cervical spine surgery for ruptured discs (removed discs and put in cadaver bone) - riding in 6 weeks. Rortator cuff surgery - riding in 6 weeks, but with pain. Good luck to you! I recommend a good neuro surgeon for the neck!!! Had mine done a Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

Did you regain all movement after the surgery? I was paralyzed from the neck down. Strangest feeling ever, hard to explain. I still live with pain, but just have to deal with it, meds help, but not a fix-all.

Both rotator cuffs repaired, broken neck and the doc took the ol' drammel tool to the lumbar region (laminectomy). I'm 62 and still suffer a few aches and pains but I'm back in the saddle and can do 400 plus miles on a Heritage Softail. Used to be a big time power lifter now I have to settle for a 200 pound bench press but considering all the scars and old age, I can't complain. No pain pills, no drugs (beer occasionally) and I sleep well at night. After a real long ride I'll limp around for a few days but it's all good. Get if fixed man, that's why the docs get the big bucks, most of the time they know what they are talking about and it looks as if you got a second opinion.

With the broken neck, they fused it and stabilized it with a piece of saftey wire.I was never paralyzed just numb on my right hand, more or less went away after surgery.Still paralyzed from the waist down from the last accident.Yeah that feels like I sit on a volleyball.

You have to have it fixed...

Shoulders are slow to heal, but they do heal. I had pretty extensive rotator cuff surgery and have made a complete recovery. Was back riding after a couple of months. Physical therapy is really important to speed the process. Good luck!

I had the surgery where they go in thru your neck to fix c 1 thru 4. I could not ride at all, even a block or two allmost had me along side the road crying in pain. I had to wait 8 weeks to ride just for the strain reinjuring me if I slipped or had to hold up the bike or whatever. Easiest thing ever, one night in the hospital, 8 weeks in the bar waiting and it's been 3 years and I can't even tell it was done. Zero pain. The neck brace for a month was the worst part. Good luck

its just hard......

i have had 3 surgeries on the left leg,3 years of therapy on that one alone.....almost lost it....it was a work injury & the work doc screwed it up pretty bad.....bad experience!
1 surgery on the right leg......2 surgeries on the right shoulder......had a few different docs, not all the same ones.
broke my left ankle......a few ribs....broke my right heel......you shoulda seen the doc on that one,,,,,,,,i have been a doctor for over 30 years & i have only seen 1 broken heel......how & the hell did you do that!

all i can say is.....its like once bitten, twice shy....you know what i meen?

i have lived like this for sooo long........but its getting hard. my neck is killing me......but i will admit it....
i am scareeedddd about this one.......sometimes its like my neck locks up and pops, and when it pops i get tingley and twice, i actually lost my site for a quick second.....it didnt go black it kinda went bright white....werid!

i was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis a couple years ago & was givin the script for humira injections, the medicine really worked, but i cant swing buying it anymore...its tooo damn expensive.......my insurance is about useless anymore........donut hole this & wait for that.
i have been off of the humira for about 9 months now & boy, can i tell a difference.

the littlest thing just pisses me off anymore & i cant do anything quick or easy, like i used too.....and that pisses me off toooo.

i know,,,,,, i have to get serious about this soon......thanx for all the good stories & sorry to hear about the bad ones......pain sux!

Look at the pullback risers. My low back is trash and that's what I did.
