My carb can't hold it

yeah i found a good one from google, but now of course another prob, one of the screws holding the bowl on does not want to budge, ill keep carefully working on it so not to strip out the head

Basically,
The four float bowl screws will have one longer than the others. Mind where it goes.
Once you get the bowl off, slide out the rod (294) on the carb body side, it should come out from one side only.
Carefully lift out the float (300) and needle assembly (360)......don't bend the tang.
Clean out the bowl, blow some air through the passages.
Inspect the needle seat for debris.
Assemble.........check that float moves freely. Sorry, I can't remember the float setting. 11/32"???

not sure about your specific carb, but usually there's an o-ring for the needle seat. they will dry out & shrink over time & let fuel by.
as for the screw you cannot remove:
usually helps to get the screwdriver seated in the head & give the end of the screwdriver a light tap with a hammer.
if the threads are stripped you may be able to get a pair of needlenose vise grip pilers on it. or you can try to dremmel a fresh slot & use a flatblade screwdriver.
good idea to replace them with cap screws one you get them out. sears has a prety decent hardware selection.
