The decision was announced Tuesday morning. A clerk at the court said members of the high court invalidated the ordinance because they said it fails to comply with state-wide uniformity laws.

Calling it "unconstitutional" is probably a stupid idea since it got tossed because it failed technically on the way it was written unless the uniformity laws are part of the state constitution. But helmet laws do have to be passed at the state level and then all counties and municipalities are subject to them. Probably some idiot Mayor who doesn't like bikers.
