does anybody know why Harley-Davdison isn't shipping the 103cu inch hop up kits. I bought 2010 street glide and its taking forever to get this kit from harley

 

My dealer is having trouble getting anything from HD. They have several pages of backordered parts. I ordered a 6 shooter gas cap and after 6 weeks of waiting, he got it from another dealer on a dealer trade. Ask your dealer if he can find the parts you need from another dealer. They do that all the time.

 

Thought a 2010 would take a 110 upgrade?

 

This has been the story for the last 4 months or so. I heard that HD decreased stock on parts to cut back on spending. The dealers are having problems getting replacements.

Why not get the pistons somewhere else and have your jugs bored?

 

It is called a suck economy and cash flow preservation.

 

Just get the S&S 106 kit, probably better quality anyway.

 

thanks I got the call its in and set up a date for it to be installed. another question for you guys out there, its a l03 kit stage 4. any concerns i should have I see people all the time with a stage 2? I have never heard of a stage 4 before

 

t tell you it is actually a 2 and a half, no such thing as a stage 4

 

Correct me if im wrong because im not absolutely sure but isnt stage 4 110+, and 58mm throttle, 260 cams or something? Or maybe it was nitro, blower i dk maybe im wrong

 

There are two different dealerships out here running a 103" upgrade installed for $1999.00 Promo. maybe the bought them all up!
