Default Cleaning brake dust off of Aluminum rims

I have gold Aluminum rims on my road glide and i need to get all the black crap off of them, the back rim is black and the front is not to bad. What cleaners will work best ? Thanks

Simple green works well for me.

Mine was the same way , My neighbor turned me on to some great stuff you just spray it on let it set for a little bit, then take a brush and it'll come right off,.. then get some polish and the wheel will be looking great. it's says on the spray can.. made for cleaning brake dust off or wheels.

Yep. Been using it for years. Just don't let it dry, because when it evaporates, it'll stain. And don't spray it on when the surface is hot, let it cool down first.

Use Windex often and it won't be hard to get off. I use it on my bimmer's wheels.

Install Lyndall Gold brake pads and you won't have any brake dust to worry about.
