Advice needed: Considering selling 1999 Fatboy
Recently learned that family medical issues may force me to sell my 1999 Fatboy which as you can see has had a lot of work done to it. I have no idea where to begin at the listing price for this bike or if it is even worth selling. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. The bike is located in Texas. It has 40000 miles on it. No major engine work ever done with the exception of a new carb. Bike has two new wheels, new rotors, new pulley, new belt, powder coated front end with Arlen Ness diamond cut cow bells. New forward controls, new hand controls, New cables when 16" apes were added. The bike would come with one quick detach mini back rest/luggage rack, one swingarm bag, an additional quick detach large back rest with luggage rack, and two seats (solo and two up fatboy seat) The fatboy seat and large back rest was used when wife rode for better comfort. Total money invested in bike counting the price of the bike is about 14000. Thank you for any help you can offer.

look at the kelly blue book.or nada. if you think you are going to get in the 14K range the market will not bring that. rather than get all pissed off and in a $hity mood just keep it .

It all depends on how bad you want to sell it and what you will sell it for...
You have to decide that..after doing your research...
Have one of your friends buy it, ya never know maybe they will sell it back to you.
It is a more of a buyers market these days though.
However this is the season or the time of the year to sell.
So if you're going sell it to you'd better get started on it.
