have had my 04 wide glide for sale for 5 weeks and not even a nibble.Bike is super clean & 13,000 miles. Any body else out there also trying to sell theirs having any luck.

 

Without even knowing what it is, your price is too high. Price is what sells everything.

 

yep - I've had my '08 FatBoy listed for 5 weeks also... and at trade-in price. like you not a nibble or even a tire kicker.

 

Dealers won't give anything on trade either. They offered me $7800 for an '07 Wideglide with 6000 mls. trade on Ultra Limited. Needless to say I still have the Wide Glide.

 

that sucks - at least I was offered $13,800 for my '08 FatBoy towards a 2010 Ultra.

 

Sign of the times, the dealers are having a hard time selling anything also.

Its the economy guys, unless my math is off nearly one in ten folks are out of work. Wife and I had the house on the market for three months, one looker. We realized prices have been depressed and priced ours accordingly. We had hoped to take "advantage" of a depressed market and low interest rates. Took it off the market a month ago. Unless you have to sell it, it may be better to wait a few months.

 

It took me 8 months to sell my bike,some guy drove past it in front of the house.He bought on the spot. I had it on e-bay,craigslist and a forum.No bites on all three.I took a beating on it,but it's finally out of my way.Price sells everything.

 

Friend of mine has had his 05 Wide Glide for sale for a year now,on ebay in the paper,and even had it at the dealer trying to sell it.No luck, been offered half it's value.
