My experience is ,you could ask $1 for your bike and someone will offer you .50c. You have to do alot of research to set your asking price, with the expectation of dropping that price to be close, to what you want. Now if you have only had your bike for a short time, you may owe more then what you can really get. So you probably won't get much action on it. If you can get the bike financed thru a Harley dealer, that is a valuable tool to have. Some guy may want your bike , but has no cash. Hopefully he has good enough credit, to make the deal happen.,,

you're price is way high, sorry if your offended by that. Two recents buys I've seen local in the Atlanta area,07 Custom with close to 2 k of extras and 7k miles for 10k.O5 SEFat Boy with less than 3k on the clock same 10k.It is a depressed market.Don't think you'll ever see what your asking.

I too have had my bike for sale for more than 5 weeks - 09 XL883N without as much as a nibble. I had it out during a neighborhood garage sale...and had two ooglers/tire kickers but didn't go any further than my driveway. I know trade is maybe 5k if they feel generous that day. Need to sell before I can get my Street Glide.

I check Craig's list everyday. I have seen the same bikes advertised over and over again. Some have been listed for a year or more!
My buddy just told me he found a deal on a Fatboy with 300 miles on it. It belongs to his friends brother who got sick and needs to sell it fast and cheap. My buddy told me he went to 4 banks and not one of them would loan money for the bike so he had to pass. They told him to refinance his home for the money but he just retired and doesn't want a mortgage on the house. I told him if the bike was at a dealership they could get him financed but he said the bike was a couple grand under market value for a quick sale. The mark up at the dealer would kill the deal for him. I guess the banks are still holding onto the money!
