Just sending a reminder for any Ohio and nearby riders that Ohio Bike Week starts today and runs thru next sat June 12. It's based out of the Sandusky area but I googled and found their website and looks like there are a lot of different activities going on. Last year I forgot and missed it, I didn't want the same to happen to others this year.

 

Hell yeah, I forgot!

Oh, and BTW - my wife and her family is from Parma.

 

I wanted to go this weekend, but they are callin for rain as always for bike week. If it's nice next weekend I might ride up. it's about a 2 hour ride for me.

 

We are heading up next week , did Roeders HD reopen ? Lookin forward to the fried walleye sandwiches!

 

We were planning on heading up today but the threat of rain isnt worth it.Next weekend is too busy for me to make it up there, so hopefully next year. I think the original Roeders shop is open for the bike week event for bands and such , not sure though.

 

And don't forget... While you're in Ohio, if they THINK that you're speeding, you can get a ticket, because proof isn't needed there anymore.

 

Roeders is no more, the location was bought and reopened as Mad River Harley last month.

 

Sad to hear, my wifes dad grew up with the original owner ,he used to ride factory bikes for harley in the old days and won quite a few races and I believe at one time held a land speed record long ago.

Roeder's is now Mad River Harley as of last week. See everyone up there next week. The poker run to Kelley's Island is pretty cool on Wednesday. I think Sunday is "bike day" at Put-In-Bay. Hope the weather cooperates this year.

 

I know most of you fellers wont melt! Although some of the passengers might, at least wilt alittle...Gonna ride irreguardless. AHDRA drags @ Norwalk Sat & Sun... Adventure Harley Davidson did purchase the Sandusky location and is open under the name Mad River Harley-Davidson. The original Roeders in Monroville, is open as Roeders Performance...Stop in and see em , I know we will..Common up people..support this or it too will go away!!!
