And I love how they are gonna go after bikes only, not people like the mutton head that was at a light night to me and who's stereo was drowning out my bike...
Not to mention that here in Edmonton we have bus driver getting beaten half to death, women being stabbed in the LRT (subway) stations and not enough law enforcement, but they are suddenly going to have enough officers to spend their days running around testing bike noise levels.
Give me a f'in break.

I love the fact that so many people here seem to get that a few idiots can ruin it for everyone! The problem is always that the idiots never get it. Lots of problems could be solved if that was different.
And this thread took me longer to get through than any other I've read here. Mostly because of the 20+ minutes that I spent trying to get past ghostrider69's post!

I've never seen a problem around Colorado with Harleys, or any other cruisers for that matter. The main complaints come from areas where crotch rocket racing is a big issue. Its all the rice rockets that cause the biggest hype in my area, I'd think our government would be able to destinguish the differences.

People bitch about anything. There are people here bitching that the race track that they built their new house next to is too loud. And they feel trapped when twice a year, they can't get around easy cause of all the race fans. Idiots

Loud pipes are a blessing, they have honestly helped me more than once from becoming a pancake. I do think that baffles are a good thing though. After market pipes with baffles sound much better than stock pipes.

50 state legal refers to not raising emissions output (smog legal), not noise legal.
