I will soon get new rims for my bike, eliminate the tubes and then I will carry the tire plugs.

I carry that type of plug kit and the rope kind. I have used both with great success. The plug type takes me a little longer to install. Instead of the rubber glue, I carry a tube of Shogoo. That stuff is amazing.

When using the plug kit it is very important to ream the hole very well. That way the steel belt will not cut the plug.

KBFXDLI, will you share your personal experience with what happened when a plug failed?

Thanks for the testimonial.
Their website includes a good link to a video the demonstrates exactly how it works-- looks pretty easy/simple-- good for me
