Something the local HD saleman said caught my attention

It would be too bad if HD discontinued the standard SuperGlide. A good bike, not just an entry level big twin either. Stripped of all crap and a good price. Maybe those riders aren't trading up for chrome and and sound system laden barges. Rocker? I've never seen one on the road or in the dealership. They're just not around here. The cross Bones always seemed a bit contrived to me. Never seen one on the road around here, but they were popular in Florida when I lived there.

V-Rods aren't gone. The Muscle and Night Rod versions will still be continued...

Since you're all talking sh#$!, I asked the dealer if I could look at the 2011 color chips today; he said sure. What I found really interesting is that under one of the paint chips, it showed the model designation FXST! Are they bringing back the Softail Standard? (I hope it's true) I wonder if it is redesigned....

While at the local HD dealer, I had a chat with one of the sales guys as he was showing the new 2011 color book to a guy looking to buy a Streetglide. We got to talking about various models, and he said that it wouldn't suprise him if the Rocker and the base model V-Rod disappeared. He also mentioned that they couldn't give the Cross Bones away. That suprised me, because I see them on the road here quite abit, and there a good looking platform to customize. It'll be interesting to see what Models HD drops,if any, and what they pull out of their parts bins.
