DinoVelvet, It was Barnes in Langley, and I honestly forget the guys name. I see him around, but that was the first time i'd talked with him. He made his comments based on sales figures. He also stated that they can't keep SG's and RG's on the floor, as they are popular here. I guess it all depends on where you live.

They can't hardly give away V-Rods. Barnetts still has new '06s on their site.

Or, they could sub-contract with Briggs and Stratton to put one of their 20hp lawnmower engines "in the Big Twins".
Which would make about as much sense as what you said.

Crossbones, rocker and road glide can all go away. I have an 02 Deuce and love it! Why did they discontinue it they need to bring it back!!!

Its coming whether we like it or not. Its called EPA and 2012 is the next year that emission standards have to be lowered more than what they are currently. So its going to be interesting how things will change.

ahhh that's what I was thinking.......I like dealing with Barnes because you know that they will tell you chit straight up for the most part. Not like some others who will blow smoke up your *** just to make a sale and to make things sound better than they are.

so who ever asked if it really mattered....yeah it kinda does in a way.

I like the 10 Road Glides. I just don't like the colors. Red and black. If they made an orange, blue, or silver one they would sell the crap out of them.

The Rocker is awkward looking IMO...trying to make a 'hardtail look' with suspension was always going to end in tears. As for the VRod, it won loads of design awards, but for most, the engine characteristics are just wrong and the riding position is.......well lets just call it interesting.
Never really seen the attraction of the Springer front end, especially with the stock headlight mount position.

Lots of speculation, we'll have to wait and see now.
