Default mustang seat

i have the mustang wide solo. i love it but i sit crouched and think having a back rest for longer rides would be great. does antone have any experience with the mustang solo with the adjustable, removable back rest? and if so, does it work well with the add on passenger seat?

thanks

Don't know about the backrest with pillion since I ride solo, but, I sure do like my back rest for longer rides. Feet up on the highway pegs, lean back and enjoy the ride. Does your seat have the slot for a backrest?

I have one on my '09 RG and love it. I also have the rear bitch seat that is removable.

I have a Mustang Wide Touring (two-up) seat with a rider's back rest. I love it. I find it greatly improves ride comfort for long hauls. I have to admit I like it so much I seldom have it off the bike even for short hops. I am a bit long in the tooth and have arthritis in my back. With the combination of a Mustang seat, rider's back rest, highway pegs, and the right handle bars, I can comfortably handle a 450 mile day.

I first bought the sport solo and then went to the touring solo. I don't carry a passenger very often, but when I have, the gals always say what a comfortable seat because it's wider than the HD seats.

I love my seat w/backrest. It really helps with my lower back pain and I can ride a lot longer without my back stiffening up.

I'm gonna pull the trigger on the Mustang Solo 15". I don't have passengers all the time and I think adds a nice overall look to the bike, especially with the Tour Pak; I bought the one up mount so I need the solo seat.

I am trying to decide which Mustang with driver backrest to get on my 2010 Heritage. Was there a big difference between the Sport solo versus the Touring model.

If getting the solo seat, you might want to get a fender bib for appearance. The fender under the pilon likely has a plastic covering, which can be peeled off...a fender bib makes a nice finishing touch.
