Default Global warming or global cooling?

May 30 and STILL snowing!!!

I'm beginning to wonder if all this volcanic action recently is causing an atmospheric disturbance similar to the one experienced in 1816. For those of you who aren't familiar with this, it is referred to as "The Year without a Summer".

You have to admit that there have been a large number of volcanic eruptions in the past several years, and getting snow at the end of May is definitely not normal. Add to this the Dalton minimum effect(http://iceagenow.com/Another_Dalton_...predicted!.htm),
and it really makes a person start to think...

Are we headed for another ice age? Where exactly is this global warming? Is this just my mental wanderings creating a false cause and effect due to not being able to enjoy the benefits of a weekend burn on the bike?

Don't know about global warming because out here on the coast of BC we are still having winter as well. The snowline is still low on the mountains and when it isn't raining it is almost too cold to get the bike out. Something wrong with having to bundle up in winter riding gear just to the bike for a spin. I feel your pain. Definitely climate change, NOT global warming.

Global hogwash...

Contemplate something.

First the earth was warm.

We had dinosaurs roaming the earth.

Then the earth got cold, and the dinosaurs died.

Then the earth warmed up again, and here we are.

It's a cycle, not 'global warming'.

If it is 'global warming', what did the dinos do to cause that chemical reaction in the earth's atmosphere?

Just sayin...

Next to the current administration in Washington, Global Warming is the biggest scam going.

I will agree with you on that, I believe that some of it might be man made, BUT it is a very small percentage, like 1%, BUT I also think Global Cooling would/could be more man made than global warming in terms of polution blocking the sunlight from getting in and warming the place up, BUT I dunno, I am not a global scientist.
