Default Cutting out in tick over

My 08 Fatboy sometimes cuts out on tick over, most of the time its fine.
Did it today on the motorway stopped in a jam in neutral and it cut out it did this all the way home stopped to open the gate and it was ok again.

Would the fuel pack have anything to do with this????

On tick cover????????

I wish I could help but have no idea what you're talking about. Maybe you could translate it to American.

I had a similar problem where my bike would stall when slowing for a stop after a long run. It happened about once every few weeks. V&H had me increase a setting on my fuelpak & it is running fine now. I'll check when I get home but they had me increase setting 17 (if I remember correctly) up 1 or 2 numbers (7 to 8 or 9). Seems to have worked. Call V&H, explain the problem & maybe they will change a setting.

Tick over is idle.
It when my bike is idling.
Or running without any throttle.

Learn something everyday!

Could the problem have something to do with the sparking plugs?

Is the tickover set too slow? I've had problems in the past with TC motors and a slow idle speed that's fine when the motor's cold (and richer) and then dies when it's hot. Have to say it sounds like temperature related fuel starvation though.....As Golfblues says, check the settings.
