Who cares? I don't. If someone pays it they pay it. Once again it is up to the seller to decide what he will take for his bike. He might just get what he is asking but not from me. I decide what I will pay.

Bank Payoff is worth more than the bike.

Seems like a pretty stock bike to me. A few bolt ons and that's it. Even if you wanted exactly those bolt-ons on the bike for yourself, better just buying new or a '09 if the cat bothers you that much for that price.

There's nothing wrong with trying though, plenty of fish out there. Do people really go through CL ads just to post the ones that are overevaluated here ? Is there a point to these threads ? Not like we're going to change the guy's mind.

Sometimes it almost seems like these posters might just be trying to get visibility for an ad... like maybe the classified section here is not enough, let's find a reason to post it in general.

And, maybe, just maybe, he/she fell for the "Harleys are and investment" line and now he wants to recover or make a little on his money. But, if he sells it for asking price, whos the smarter person? Just a thought.

Worth something in 30 years, probably not more than he is asking or even what it is actually worth now. (of course if the buyer put it in storage, returns it to stock, keep it in mint condition, depending on inflation and other unknowns factors he could be right).
I like the I paid 15k after tax and title, why should the second owner be expected to pay for the first owners tax and title?
Of course I was selling a bike and had a call where the guy got upset because registration and insurance didn't go with the bike.

I personally like going through CL looking for good deals, not to say I'd post anything about them but I think it's fun looking for that perfect buy. I bought my bike off of CL and plan to buy my second one from there too "if the price is right". As for him seeing his Harley it better be to buy another one.
