Depends on the moment. Sometimes I get a wild hair up my *** and just have to see the needle hit 100. That's on a straight highway with no traffic. Usually I'm like everyone else, about 10 over. I like to cruise, not in any rush and I'm not in any race. I do like me some adrenaline every now and then tho.

Only if I'm in a hurry, which isn't often.

I am the same as everyone else. I do 10 miles over the speed limit on the open road. I usually keep it to 5 over around town. Even on an open road I usually keep it at about 65-70 miles per hour, mostly so that I can still hear my stereo.

10 over max but usually only 5-8 if I am local. If I am on a trip I like to maintain about 80 mph if i can do it w/o bringing alot of attention to myself. You can just cover alot more miles.

Around town in 35's and 45's I am usually pretty close to legal.

And sometimes i just go the speed limit or less if it doesnt block traffic. Just last night I rode some country stuff righ around here for about 2 hrs,,, most of it I was putting along 30-35 mph in 45's. Just felt like kicking back and the roads were empty.

I dont mind exceeding these speeds a little if it makes somebody happy I am riding w/. I dont ride w/ anybody that rides much differant than me. In fact if anything I have a couple buds that like to stick to the speed limits and nothing more. Either way it dont bother me.

My bike isn't my daily driver like some of you so when I go for a ride, I'm not in a hurry to get to work or anyplace else. I don't find "speed" in and of itself, to be that exciting, especially without a windshield. Where I like to push it, so to speak, is when I'm riding a twisty road and I can push it through the corners. I get a thrill out of dragging my pegs at 40 mph.

When I am out on the bike I am riding for pleasure so it is the journey, not the destination that counts. So sometimes it is plus or minus 5 to 10 mph depending on road conditions and where the sweet spot is in the gear range. In town it is basically the speed limit or traffic flow.

Typically I run 5-10 over. Occasionally on the freeway going to/from work I'll get going 80ish (65mph limit). Around here that is usually the flow of traffic. And occasionally I'll just open her up and really get going.
