I just spoke with Mr. Dixon over the phone, offered my prayers and let him know that those who read the post are hoping for the best. Sounded like a real stand up guy.

 

If I lost a leg because of her, I guarantee she'd lose a lot more than that.

 

I almost lost a leg and my life on account of a drug head in 03. Still ended up with nerve damage and a Harley leg but I'm still riding. Although the pill head put me on a trike. They give me the fifth degree about if I was drinking or not in the emergency room, I don't think they ever asked the pill head that hit me, "just out of rehab".

If you are on a bike you are at fault for riding a motorcycle and the cops in most states don't give a damn unless they are motorcycle cops. The jerk pulled left of center on me on a two lane road, no signal lights, no warning. Just let me get about even with him and pulled over on me.

The guy in WVA. was riding home from work, the drug heads that hit him were looking for drugs. No insurance and nothing to pay for the loss of the limb and probably his job. I wish him well and hope he and his family get some financial help with his medical bills and to live on. This just sucks.

when a car gets into a wreck with another car, it hits the car. when a car gets into a wreck with a bike, it hits a biker. that being said, I think we should be able to legaly shoot at those bastards in self defense...

 

Sorry to bust your bubble but Im a resident of WV and this state is NOT motorcycle friendly even though the Governor rides. You can kill a motorcyclist and nothing is ever done.
