I bought the ol lady a 750 Shadow, then made her stay off it till she had the MSF course and her license. She was chompin at the bit till she was legal, but has turned out to be a pretty good rider and getting better all the time. She's usually riding in front of me cuz that's the way I learned... Most experienced in the rear (now there's a loaded comment!) Seriously though, I'm feeling better about her riding all the time.

Scares the hell out of me and I love it at the same time. My gf's been riding a couple years now and does just fine, but I still worry about her especially when she's out on her own. I have this illusion that I can somehow help if i'm there with her.

My wife rides her own just fine. We take turns leading. No problems.
Besides her Harley, she also has a Ninja that she rides the hell out of.
She can ride. Better than most.

The missus might get mad for me posting this pic. But hell it was 45* out. 1200 miles in 5 days of switch back after switch back and she was right on my tail. She loves to ride and has mad skills on here scoot. As a matter of fact one of my buds left early cuz, his a$$ hurt, she wanted to stay an extra day.

My wife followed me to Red Lodge, Montana and back on her Dyna. Over the Beartooth Pass, Big Horn and Absaroka ranges. She does several other trips with me every year, in any weather. She has her own idea of limitations (doesn't like gravel or buffalo), but she can ride the wheels off that bike. After reading numerous posts about crashes and drops on this forum, I would worry more about half of the guys here.
