I'll bet he was wearing a bandana, fingerless gloves, chaps, a vest and maybe even boots. He would have been three times less minimal injuries had he crashed at 1/3 the speed.
If he was wearing any gear, or especially a helmet, I bet he looked really un-cool

 

dont forget the turn signal oil,,, that alone probably make the skid easier.

 

On my old Katana 750 I was running about 145 MPH. Went to slow down and sat up slightly almost got blown off the bike.

 

Aah, blinker fluid has been the cause of many accidents has it.
