Labor costs for changing tires?
I've been seriously considering a new set of tires for my Heritage. Was just out in the garage and did the penny trick on my treads. The depth was just a little over the top of Lincoln's head on the rear tire. Not much different for the front tire. I'll probably shop around for some Dunlops, but what can I expect to be charged from my dealer (Woodstock HD in IL) for the installation?

You need to call around your area's shops... Most chage 1-1.5 hours if you ride the bike in..... when you just bring the wheels, and buy tires it may be one rate, and bringing the tires in, may be another rate.
Being told a shop in North Carolina charges $25 per rim, if you bring the rims and tires, won't impress the the shop owner in Antioch IL

The dealer will bend you over and rape you with no lube for tire changes. I got a new Avon put on my bike a few months ago (18" wheel), and I paid $275 total ($220 or so was the tire). That was bringing my bike in. If you have the skills to remove the wheels yourself, you can find indy's that will mount the tire for around $20 or so, but you'd have to install the wheel back on your bike.
Oh, and the dealer quote for that same exact tire, was pushing $500! I think the cheapest dealer here quoted me $450.

I take mine off the bike and they usually hit me 25 a tire and a disposal fee if I didn't buy the tires from them and I want them to keep them.

My local dealer as well as several Indies around here will not mount tires that you did not buy from them. I just went through this and finally found a shop that would mount it. Point being, call around first.

Where ever you go, watch out for the 'extra' charges. I just had my tires changed 2 weeks ago. After getting a bunch of quotes for all over, I opted for a local shop. Quoted me $45 for the front and $55 for the rear if I just drove the bike in, or $25 each if I brought in the wheels. I confirmed $25 each and he said, yes, $50 + tax or $53.50 total. I brought the wheels in. Pick them up the next day. That will be $63.13...well, there is the $5 shop supplies, and then the $2 per tire disposal fee...I know it's only $10, but just want to warn you about those 'hidden' charges.
It was my first time taking the wheels off the RK, but along with my neighbor it was a piece of cake.
